This 1991 Land Rover Defender 110 represents an uncompromising, no-expense-spared restoration and overland build with approximately $300,000 invested. Combining classic Defender styling with modern reliability, comfort, and expedition capability, this truck has been extensively rebuilt from the ground up and is powered by a GM LS3 V8 paired with a 6L80E automatic transmission. The powertrain has approximately 10,000 miles since installation and delivers modern performance with exceptional drivability.
The chassis has been completely renewed with a galvanized frame, galvanized and painted bulkhead, new axles, all-new suspension components, disc brakes with steel brake lines, and a fully updated electrical system. The Defender rides on beadlock wheels wrapped in 35-inch tires with approximately 3,000 miles of use.
Designed for serious off-grid travel, the vehicle features a Renogy solar power system with an upgraded heated battery, auxiliary fuel tank, heated water tank, under-dash air conditioning, gas-fired auxiliary heater, heated windscreen, and extensive Dynamat sound deadening and insulation throughout the cabin.
The expedition-ready interior includes custom heated and ventilated Recaro seats, a Dometic drawer refrigerator, an additional fridge/freezer combination unit, and a compact oven for extended travel and camping convenience.
Exterior upgrades include premium Baja Designs auxiliary lighting, a Warn winch, and an Alu-Cab pop-top roof system providing comfortable sleeping accommodations for two adults.
