The Rolls-Royce Motor Cars of Rancho Mirage team was excited to showcase our most luxurious models at Empire Polo Club. Established in 1987, Empire Polo Club has been an intricate part of polo history in the California desert. Empire Polo Club has put together a fun polo season filled with competitive polo tournaments, parties and many opportunities to meet new people. Annually, Kelley Blue Book, the go-to source for automobile valuation, releases a list of vehicles with the best resale values. This year, Porsche topped the list in the luxury brand category. The team at Kelley Blue Book said candidly, "This one surprised even us. Not because we don't carry Porsches around in our hearts, and not because we weren't acutely aware that Porsche is on a 5-star roll -- bringing its best products ever to the luxury and sports-car market. No, we just didn't think that Lexus could be overthrown from wearing our Best Luxury Brand crown. But there is a new king, and the throne is well deserved. Porsche's ability to seamlessly blend its high-performance heritage with polished luxury is broadening the company's fan base every year, and Porsche resale value is outrageously strong -- and that's how you win the Best Resale Value Awards crown." Porsche also landed 2017 Best Resale Value Awards in the categories of Best High-End Luxury Car for the 2017 Panamera and Best Luxury Compact SUV/Crossover for the 2017 Macan. According to Kelley Blue Book, resale value is a huge consideration for car buyers, noting that "over the first five years of new-car ownership, depreciation is the typical car owner's biggest transportation expense. It's bigger than the cost of fuel, the cost of maintenance or the cost of insurance. That loss in the value of your car will cost you thousands of dollars during your ownership period, but if you choose a vehicle with a strong resale value story, that cost will be much lower than if you pick a vehicle that plummets in value like a stone kicked off a cliff." The Kelley Blue Book Best Resale Value Awards are based on years of calculations and expert predictions about the market. The resale value projections take into account current vehicle data, sales data, market conditions for each vehicle, competition within vehicle segments, expectations of the future economy, and the combined experience of Kelley Blue Book's team of market and pricing analysts. The awards recognize automakers' outstanding achievements in producing vehicles that best retain their value over the first five years (60 months) of new-vehicle ownership. indiGO Auto Group’s Bentley Rancho Mirage donated $3,000 to the General Patton Memorial Museum at the Empire Polo Club tournament on Sunday, January 29, 2017. Empire Polo Club hosted a field dedication ceremony in honor of General George S. Patton, who is known as one of the greatest and the most colorful generals in U.S. Army history. He was also an avid polo player, an accomplished horseman and athlete. In honor of Patton’s military accomplishments and to celebrate his love of horses and the sport of Polo, Empire Polo Club named its main Sunday Polo Field the “The General Patton Field.”  A new flagpole and plaque honoring General Patton was unveiled during the ceremony. more Hollywood’s one-and-only Sylvester Stallone arrived in a Bentley from indiGO Auto Group and was a guest speaker along with Helen Patton, granddaughter of General George S. Patton, Jr. and Honorary Chair of the General Patton Museum. Bentley Rancho Mirage was honored to give back  to The General Patton Memorial Museum at this grand event! The General Patton Memorial Museum was built to inspire such reverence through exposure and education. Quality of life for each visitor is directly tied to the health of this nation, and the organization strives to ensure each visitor leaves the museum with a renewed understanding of that. Not only is the Veyron capable of presenting astonishing performance with every press of the pedal, but the vehicle’s technology adds a whole new dimension to the world of Bugatti.  The Veyron is equipped with a dual-clutch gearbox, which happens to be the fastest gearbox in the world. Designed explicitly for the new Bugatti, this gearbox delivers engine torque of up to 1,100 lb-ft.   Never ceasing to be a step ahead, Bugatti invented AC injection pumps, which supply the engine with the required amounts of fuel continuously at a constant pressure. Even the fuel tank has been redesigned for this new sports car. An external Teflon coating placed in the new fuel tank provides the fuel pumps with a constant supply of fuel in every situation.   Raising the levels of sophistication, airflow patterns were created to conduct sufficient cooling air to the vehicle’s ten radiators and extract hot air without compromising the vehicle design, making the life of the Bugatti longer than ever before. Always seeking adventure, Land Rover has developed the ultimate compact Christmas cabin for snowy camping in style. It has space for two adults to sleep snugly in North Pole temperatures, and it folds down to fit in the rear of the top-selling Discovery Sport. Helen Ali, Land Rover Vehicle Package Team Leader, said, “We wanted to create a Christmas cabin for Santa, in a truly Land Rover way. The spacious and versatile Discovery Sport was perfect for this project. The seats can be folded flat at the push of a button from the load space, which is wide and square and there are plenty of hidden storage spaces like the area under the front cup-holders. Building a cabin that utilized all these features was a lot of fun. We could have built this in one of our bigger models, but we wanted to prove just how versatile the baby of the Discovery family truly is.” Land Rover’s Packaging Engineer Muhammed Malik added, “Anything that wears the Land Rover badge has to be capable and versatile, with beautiful, simple design. Our cabin also had to be sustainable and easily transportable.
