Seeking a balance between the ease of everyday driving and the thrill of a powerful engine, BMW has announced the production of an exclusive, limited-run, special-edition model: the BMW M3 CS. The model is a four-door sedan and boasts high performance and ultimate luxury.   According to BMW, “With its two mono-scroll turbochargers, charge air cooler, High Precision Injection, VALVETRONIC variable valve timing and Double-VANOS fully variable camshaft timing, the six-cylinder in-line engine takes a clear and consistent aim at the higher echelons of performance, but is equally committed to developing significant torque from low engine speeds and achieving high levels of efficiency.”   BMW will be accepting orders for the M3 CS beginning in January 2018 for this special-edition vehicle to be produced in March of next year. This October marked the six-year production anniversary of Lamborghini's Aventador, and the brand is pleased to announce that they have produced 7,000 units in that timeframe. Lamborghini adds, "Chassis number 7,000 is an Aventador S Roadster, which was launched at the international auto show in Frankfurt in September. The jubilee model in Grigio Adamas rolled off the assembly line destined for the US American market." Additionally, the Huracan has been in production for three years now, and Lamborghini has created 9,000 of these models. Jaguar continually pushes limits and explores the unknown, and this year the brand took on the challenge of breaking a world record. The Jaguar XF Sportbrake and skier Graham Bell reached a thrilling average top speed of over 117 miles per hour, smashing the target set by GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS. Maserati continues to expand their brand and make every experience customers have with Maserati memorable. Recently, the brand created an all-new exhibit at The Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, California. The exhibit is interactive, providing guests with an opportunity to examine how an elite Italian automobile is manufactured.   The exhibit spans five rooms, each of which represents a particular stage in the production line. The stages and rooms include raw materials, bare body shell, drivetrain, trims and finishes, and the final product. The 2018 Porsche 911 Carrera T brings great performance to the Porsche lineup, and it is a must-experience motorcar.   The new 2018 Porsche 911 Carrera T features a manual transmission and a standard mechanical rear differential lock to bring heightened performance. The rear windshield and rear side windows are made of lightweight glass, and door opener loops on the inside replace conventional door openers. The Porsche 718 GTS line is more advanced than ever before. The Porsche brand has expanded the mid-engine 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman model lines with new GTS models.   A number of performance-enhancing options are available on the new GTS models, such as Porsche Torque Vectoring and Porsche Active Suspension Management. The Sport Chrono Package is standard on the GTS models. All of these changes reduce the ride height by 0.39 inches compared to the standard suspension on other 718 Boxster and Cayman models.
