BRAVO to our Chief Operating Officer Kelly Wolf, who was featured in the July/August 2016 issue of Palm Springs Life’s specialty publication, Vision: Greater Palm Springs. The magazine profiled 20 Valley Visionaries, and Kelly Wolf proudly made the list. Rolls-Royce recently announced that the brand will be building their sixth showroom in Japan. Rolls-Royce has continually expanded their reach in recent years, moving into the Asian marketplace. The importance Rolls-Royce’s presence in Japan was stated best by CEO, Torsten Muller-Otvos: “Japan is the fourth largest single market for Rolls-Royce worldwide, and we are confident of another strong year in 2016. Wraith, the powerful fastback coupe launched in 2013, is now our most popular model amongst Japanese customers, confirming that our new, more dynamic and contemporary design direction has been well received. Likewise, Dawn has been a phenomenal success and Japan constitutes our largest market in Asia for this model, with two thirds of customers new to Rolls-Royce. In Paris, Maserati revealed two new vehicles for 2017. The presentation of the two vehicles, the Quattroporte and Ghibli, displayed the brand's new interior advancements and new technical content. Maserati showed the attendees the many ways that the future models can be customized with luxury and sport packages. The improved Quattroporte is recognizable with a newly introduced bumper design with a matte-black profile. The front of the model introduces vertical chrome elements which contrast with the depth of the shark-nose effect. The Ghibli's exterior design stands out for its coupe-like look and is accompanied by several unique features in the E High-End Segment, like the exclusive C-Pillar, the frameless doors, the pronounced grille (which takes the look the of iconic Maseratis of the 1950s), and the four chrome-plated exhaust pipes on all versions. During the reveal, the brand also spoke of the new packages of Advanced Brake Assist and Automated Emergency Braking offered to buyers of the new models. Consistently advancing in the world of technology, the Quattroporte and Ghibli have been upgraded in the ways of aero-acoustic comfort, providing significant improvements in insulation and reduced cabin noise. The buzz about the 2017 Porsche 718 Boxster has not dulled since the roadster’s release earlier this year, and dealerships across the nation have been eager to share the new redesign with customers. On Friday, September 23rd and Saturday, September 24th, Porsche of North Houston hosted a two-day test driving event to showcase the new 718 Boxster to Porsche enthusiasts in the Houston, Texas area. Guests were invited to stop by the showroom on Friday or Saturday to test drive the 718 Boxster and enjoy specialty coffees from a personal barista. Along with upscale coffee drinks, the dealership served fresh Italian sodas accompanied by an upscale candy bar with delectable treats in the colors of this Porsche’s theme—sunset. To set the backdrop, a red Boxster sat in the showroom surrounded by five large-screen TVs showcasing an exciting Boxster video. Over 25 drivers tested the new 718 Boxster, and one even took home the red-hot display model. Everyone walked away with a Porsche 718 Boxster metal paperweight and a trendy vintage Boxster poster. When driving your Porsche Cayman at night or in heavy rain, you want your headlights to give you the optimum vision that you need to navigate safely on the road. To maintain the pristine condition of your new headlights in your Porsche, check out these steps for cleaning and caring for the headlights safely and correctly. Prep your headlights simply by taking a regular household glass cleaner (like Windex) and remove any excess grime off of the headlights with a paper towel. Once the headlights are wiped dry, tape around the headlights to ensure that the car’s paint will not become damaged during the next step. Using an abrasive material such as fine 600-grit sandpaper, scuff away the outer layer of haze that forms onto the plastic due to UV rays degrading the outer layer of the plastic. To finish the job, use a fine polish such as Blue Magic 730-6 or Meguiars G-1900K to clean up the sandpaper scuffs and make the headlights clear. The condition of your headlights varies on how much sun exposure your headlights get on a day-to-day basis. If you leave your Porsche in the driveway out in the open, it is recommended to clean your headlights once every three months. If you keep your Porsche in a covered area, such as your garage, cleaning and caring for your headlights may only be needed to be done every six to eight months. On Saturday, September 24th, Porsche of Rancho Mirage hosted a gourmet breakfast to showcase the new 718 Boxster to Porsche enthusiasts in Southern California. Morning delicacies included breakfast burritos, fresh fruit, muffins, sweet cinnamon rolls, coffee, tea, and juice. The focus of the event was to demonstrate how far the Porsche brand has evolved over the years, so the group at Porsche of Rancho Mirage chose to display two historical Porsches—one from the 1950s and one from the 1960s. This side-by-side comparison between the 718 Boxster and the vintage models was striking. Not only did the team enjoy breakfast, but they also sent five employees and a large group of guests to a PCA Riverside Timeline Event at Lake Arrowhead of which Porsche of Rancho Mirage was a sponsor. The trip allowed customers to enjoy driving the Boxster and introduced the new model to those in attendance at the Lake Arrowhead event. After a long but enjoyable day with the Boxster, each guest left with a commemorative Porsche 718 journal, and the team at Porsche of Rancho Mirage is happily working with several customers who want to take home Boxsters of their own. Here at indiGO Auto Group, we are thrilled to announce that McLaren’s latest accomplishment has been recognized by Motor Trend magazine. Motor Trend magazine is the largest car magazine in the world and circulates over 1 million copies.  After working diligently year after year, the McLaren brand has won this year’s Best Drivers Car award and competition. The coveted award is not an easy task as contestants come from all over the globe. This is the first time since 2011 that a brand in an elite market segment has been given the title of holding this award. The competition consisted of four countries and twelve sports cars, all being put through acceleration, braking, and handling tests in Fontana, California. The contenders raced on a 4.2-mile stretch of asphalt known as Highway 198. The effective successor of the 12C, the McLaren 570S is less powerful but lighter and quicker in every regard. It’s one-tenth quicker to 60 mph and through the quarter mile, carrying an extra 1.3 mph in the latter. It stacks an extra 0.02 lateral G in steady-state cornering and knocks three-tenths of a second off the figure-eight time. Braking distance drops by 7 feet.
